Composition typically includes 0.08–0.15% carbon, 0.50–1.20% manganese, and trace amounts of silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus, ensuring good weldability and minimal defects. Mechanical properties deliver a tensile strength of approximately 480–620 MPa, yield strength around 350–450 MPa, and elongation of 20–25%, providing strong, ductile welds. These electrodes produce smooth, slag-free deposits with excellent arc stability, making them suitable for general-purpose welding in construction, fabrication, and repair applications where reliability and toughness are critical.
