What is AWS Class ERNiCrMo-13 MIG and TIG Filler Metal?
AWS Class ERNiCrMo-13 MIG & TIG filler rods and wires are the high-performance nickel based alloys which were created to have high strength and resistance to corrosion. They are usually made of Nickel 5563, Chromium 2023, Molybdenum 1214, Iron up to 5 with a small measure of Mn, Si, Cu, and others to be made to be more weldable. Mechanical properties include tensile strength of about 750 Mpa, yield strength of about 350 Mpa and elongation of 30 percent giving it an excellent toughness and ductile property. ERNiCrMo-13 is particularly applicable in the aggressive welding of aggressive welding situations to provide high-quality and strong joints in chemical, offshore, and power industry.
