AWS Class E317LT0-1/T0-4 Flux Core wire contains approximately 0.04% C, 18–21% Cr, 12–14% Ni, 2–3% Mo, and low carbon to resist carbide precipitation. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in environments containing chlorides and sulfur compounds. The typical mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 580–760 MPa, yield strength of 400–520 MPa, elongation of 30–40%, and impact toughness above 47 J at –20°C. This wire ensures smooth arc performance, easy slag removal, and produces high-quality welds for stainless steel applications.
